Here is more information about the active ingredients contained in this brew…
The trusty Lemon, possibly our favorite fruit. Here at Juice Brewery we add this to a majority of our juices because it acts as a natural preservative, as well as tasting great and packing a nutritional punch. Known for their antimicrobial properties, lemons help to fight against disease and reduce the risk of strokes, heart disease, asthma and other respiratory complaints. To top this off they also aid weight loss, give you a clearer complexion and boost your immunity.
Ginger is arguably the healthiest and most delicious spice on the planet! Great for indigestion, nausea and sickness as well as morning sickness. It also helps to relieve menstrual pain. As it is so closely related to turmeric, it shares some of the brain supporting functions of its cousin and can also be used to treat and prevent alzheimers. Ginger also helps to fight infections and we swear by it when we are feeling under the weather!
Pineapples contain a magic chemical called bromelain which is said to reduce pain and tumour cell growth. It is widely extracted from the fruit and sold in supplement form. In our juices you can access the cold pressed version of the fruit which immediately gets absorbed by all of your body’s cells. To add to the magical power of this tropical MVP, pineapples produce an amazing cough syrup as they have been shown to relieve sore throats and dissolve mucus.
Apples are a rich source of polyphenols, which are responsible for many health benefits. The goodness in apples has been proven to reduce the risk of heart disease and diabetes and aid weight loss. They have prebiotic properties and play an active role in promoting good gut bacteria. New studies show that apples can help reduce the risk of asthma and other lung issues as well as brain function and bone health. No wonder we press apples into so many of our brews!
